Welcome to Gentle Steps Living Ltd
Gentle Steps Living provides innovative person-centered support for adults, aged 18–65 years old who are living with enduring mental health conditions; who need medical treatment and interventions, but do not need to be in inpatient care; to live as independently as possible within their own homes and in the local community.
Through quality support and housing services, we help Service Users gain the life skills they need to build the foundations for independent living.
Everything at Gentle Steps Living is designed to create an atmosphere of home, safety, warmth and care, whilst keeping its function as an exceptionally innovative and well-run supported living service. We cater for individuals with mental health needs.

Management
The director Gentle Steps Living ltd is Olubukola Lucas. She is a Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 10 years’ experience working within a regulated and non-regulated care services including residential Forensic Mental Health Services in North Yorkshire and Shropshire. She has also successfully managed community based services for multiple client groups including Dementia, Learning Disabilities, and End of Life. She is committed to the betterment of Health & Social Care in England and in her local community.
TEAM of experts
All our staff have experience working with individuals with mental health support needs. They attend regular mandatory training including safeguarding of vulnerable adults, health and safety, equality and diversity, mental capacity act, mental health awareness, care planning as well as best practice in caring for vulnerable adults. Our team also work closely with professionals in statutory mental health services as well as with our neighbours and the police to intervene when the behaviour of people who use our services becomes hazardous to the lives of other people.
